An Integrated Practice
The experience integrates 20 years guiding embodied movement, breath & meditation with a lifetime of exploration in music and creative arts.
Connections - coming together through the movement and gentle sound of breath in the space. Feeling the connection that bonds us all, the group share a simple pact to care for each other throughout the experience to follow.
Creative Warm-up - Often invited blindfolded as an option, we move unseen by ourselves or others, to encourage deep connection, loss of inhibition & comparison
Ecstatic DJ Set - A full spectrum sound & dance ceremony of unrestricted, embodied group movement without boundaries of tempo or style.
Live Soundscape Meditation: The journey is consummated with a live soundscape, blending real instruments (often handcrafted) with electronic samples and spoken word, guiding participants towards stillness.
The experience is infused with a deep personal commitment, born from the shift from visual arts to fully embracing music and sound following a diagnosis of progressive sight loss. This history makes the core element of the experience—releasing inhibition through practices like blindfolded movement which I have been guiding for over ten years, profoundly authentic and significant.
From live meditative soundscapes & sound ceremonies at sauna rituals, DJ'ing 8 hours of ecstatic dance & soundscape sets at Glastonbury Festival in 2025 & leading over 200 people in blindfolded movement practice - sound & silence has no boundaries or limits.
